How do you buy name brand things like sunglasses or even electronics in bulk/wholesale?

Hi, I’ve been looking around the web for wholesale things like oakley sunglasses, nike shoes, anything that I could start an online store with. The only problem is that everything I’ve found is all replica junk that won’t sell. Does anybody know of any good stores that I could buy real stuff from? Anybody in this type of business that could help me out, maybe give me some ideas of how to get started? Thanks!

I think you will find that the market is saturated with things like electronics and it is way to hard for the smaller businesses to be competitive against the bigger chains when it comes to these types of products. Manufacturers or Distributors of these products don’t usually drop ship, you would have to buy an amount of product up front as well as get a license to sell their good (eg big brands like Apple and Nike are like this).

I use these guys and have been using them for about 3 years now www.worldwidebrands.com their membership fee is for life. Their website does all the market research for the product you are considering to sell right there and then for you, its super quick and extremely accurate. Its a huge advantage to have something like this.

You could check out sites like this http://www.liquidation.com/bu/index.html for surplus products etc from big name brands and sell them this way.

You could check with the manufacturers but again with big ticket items like this, you are going to have to shell out some serious cash to get started.
